[edit] How to group files

To demonstrate how to use the grouping function to quickly organize your photos when you are working with a large number of them in a session, let's look at an example. How could you group by the ISO setting when you have some photos at ISO 100, and others at ISO 200, and so on?

First, go to the Files tab on the left and in the Grouping section select ISOSpeedRatings from drop-down list. Next, click the Group button. All of the indexed files in that folder will be grouped by the selected attribute.

You can select any attribute from the drop-down list, which contains all the EXIF attributes of indexed files.

When you select the "Update automatically" option, the images in any folder that you select for viewing later will be grouped according to the current attribute.
