IPTC patterns

IPTC patterns is a very helpful and easy technology. IPTC patterns panel located at the bottom of the main window. IPTC pattern is a set of couples - tag and value. There are some IPTC tags such as Keywords, ObjectName, ImageCaption etc. At the right side of the panel show this couples. You can construct your own pattern (and save them to disk) or make it from image.

[edit] How to construct a pattern

You should select a tag from "IPTC tag" combobox. At the bottom field enter tag value and click Add button. Tag with the value should be added to the pattern grid. So, you can add some various tags with values.

[edit] Another way to make a pattern

You can extract IPTC info from any image and make a pattern use this data. So, you can copy IPTC data between some images, just click "Get data from selected image", select another image(s) and click "Apply patterns to selected images". IPTC data will be copied.

You can save or load IPTC pattern from file.
